There is a new sport created by some people, in which basically a person runs on the surface of water. The sport is called Liquid Mountaineering. There are some historical statements that suggest that this sport was created by the Greek, but now it is recreated and it’s one of the most impossible looking activities that anyone has seen.

The sport is all about running on water. Science tells us that with the right angle and speed anything can bounce off the surface of water for some time before it sinks. The perfect example is of a rock that when thrown with the right amount of speed, spin and angle, it starts bouncing on water and touches the surface many times before sinking. If we could follow the same set of rules that enable the rock to bounce, we can bounce too.

To tell you the truth, I still think its impossible.

Brutal Neighborhood Revenge

This story took place in Beirut, Lebanon. In a small place called Kater Maya, near Beirut, lived a married couple called  Yousef (80 yrs) and his wife Kawthar (80 yrs also) and there two grandsons Amna (9 yrs) and Zeina (7 yrs). One day, while, Amna and Zeina’s mother, Rania, was at her work, a stranger came and knocked the door of their house. The grandfather yousef opened the door and welcomed this stranger in. What he didn’t know is that stranger had a painful secret carried with him and he was going to reveal it soon. After they sat down, the stranger turned out to be an Egyptian and was the butcher of the neighborhood.

Falafel & Company Shuwaikh ; Until Further Notice :(

As an admirer of falafel & company, I have been really sickened by how long its taking them to re-open again. I have already mentioned in a previous post about them that they were supposed to be opening again in Shuwaikh Co op. Anyhow, last night I was in Bu Saleh cafe enjoying my Sheesha with my friends when I was struck by hunger and Falafel Co. came to mind. So, out of curiosity I asked about it. One of my friends answered me with the ” Afaa .. Ma Darait..?”. I asked him to make himself clear to me so he said that the owner already has the place all set and ready to go but the problem came from the residents of Shuwaikh. They all agreed that they did not want the joint opening in Shuwaikh because ” Ma Yaboon Looya” or in other words they dont want shuwaikh co op to be the new ” Jam3eyat Al Tha7ya” were random boys and girls just hang out and cause traffic. He also added that if he ignored them and opened anyway, they would threaten to sue him later on.

Of course, all or most of you watch football. Many of you also admire the players of the game. Anyhow, I was searching in my mail box for some useless emails to delete and i found this interesting email.
